San Qi: an amazing healing plant

San Qi(sahn-chee) is an amazing plant medicine. Harvested high in the hills of south central asia, it is the rock-hard root of the panax pseudoginseng species. This root is so hard, in fact, it must be cut with a diamond blade to render it into usable slices. Most commonly it is found in a powder form.

San Qi root has the almost miraculous ability to halt bleeding nearly instantaneously. A number of times that I have used this herb with amazing results immediately come to mind. Once when I encountered a young woman, who was hemoraghing from the nose continuously for 5 minutes, I administered one dose of this herb in water and her bleeding stopped instantly. I used this herb recently with a case of gastrointestinal bleeding. This patient had continued upper G. I. bleeding for weeks in spite of this patients use of other treatments. Within two days of using San Qi her bleeding stopped completely.

It is not uncommon for natural plant medicine to have seemingly paradoxical effects within the body. This herb powerfully stops bleeding but it is also revered for it’s ability to reduce blood clotting and restore circulation. It also has the effect to strengthen the integrity of blood vessels. These properties all provide San Qi with it’s legendary wound healing reputation. The ancient Kung Fu masters of China never were caught without a supply of this wondrous medicine, for use on their various sprains, strains, bumps and bruises.

For any disorder related to unchecked bleeding such as macular degeneration, vericose veins, hemorrhoids, and many others, this plant can provide fast and permanent relief.
